About Sojay

SoJay is an R&B artist from Obowo, Imo State. He grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers state in a town called Rumuigbo and he is also a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Port Harcourt. He lost his father at a young age but being raised by a strong mother provided him the best of opportunities and a firm foundation that has helped nurture the rare talent he possesses. SoJay started singing in churches and mostly entertaining people in his neighbourhood; he got local recognition and started going for various talent shows. He decided to do music full time after recording an EP which had songs that caught the attention of many independent record labels. Music to him is extremely soothing and brings him alive. He is a great songwriter and is mostly inspired when he is in a happy and in a motivated mood. He looks up to artists like 2face, eLDee and P-square in the Nigerian music industry.
