About Monique
FABIYI TEMITOPE MONIQUE, was born in Lagos State Nigeria, friends call her MQ but her stage name is MONIQUE. She started music at a tender age of nine as a vocalist with the church chorister, her talent blew up in high school as the school choral group leader, she led the group into many successful outings and competitions. Her role models are YOLANDA ADAMS, Late BRENDA FASIE and LAUREN HILL. MONIQUE has worked with many established artistes as a supporting lead vocalist and back up singer, such includes Kenny Saint Brown, Mike Aremu, The Compassion Band, Rasqie to mention few. She has recorded various jingles for many organizations like Kennis music, Prime time Africa etc. She has lead various choirs like The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Life Gate Assembly and presently the music director of RCCG in his presence. In her quest for fame, she has won various awards, in 1999 she became the winner of an event tagged “CIRCLE OF STARS” organized by Gold-myne international. MONIQUE as performed alongside top music super stars like Midnight Crew, Infinity, Mike Aremu, Kingsley Ike, Segun Obe, Kenny Saint Brown, Gbenga Owoeye-wise and many more. She has performed at various gospel music concert e.g. Pastor’s Praise with Pastor A.T. Williams in Dec. 2001, Kennis music Easter fiesta organized by Prime-Time Entertainment Inc. Performed at Singspiration 2010 and 2011 respectively, Latter Rain Assembly with Pastor Tunde Bakare, and RCCG province 25 Praise halleluyah night 2009 and 2010. In conclusion, her aspiration is to spread the gospel of Christ through her music and win souls through the power of Christ in her voice.
