About Iceberg Slim,
Iceberg Slim, born Olusegun Olowokere in New York City to Nigerian parents, is an emerging Superstar. Introduced to the sounds of Sunny Ade and Shina Peters from a very young age, Iceberg Slim found a strong liking for Nigerian music. He started writing his own music by the time he had reached High School. It started out as poetry, and served as an outlet, but then transformed into Rap/Hip-Hop. Influences like Jay-Z, Drag-On, DMX and Eminem helped shape his sound and style. With such a love for music, there's no question on why he decided to leave John Jay College of Criminal Justice after 2 years completed, to attend IAR (Institute of Audio Research) to then pursue a career as an audio engineer/producer. He has tracks with the likes of international rapper/singer Ja Rule, 2Face Idibia, Tiwa Savage, MI, Ice Prince, Sauce Kid, DaGrin, Banky W., eLDee and Vector. There's no telling what the future has in store for this young man, so brace yourselves for the 'Ice Age'.
