CDQ is a Nigerian rapper who has been in the rap game for decade, but didn’t gain ground for many years , for God sake this guy is no longer a kid and if you doubt that i would kindly advise you to look back at his date of birth and get your mind right ogbeni . CDQ was born May 6, 1985 and this guy is not like many Nigerian rappers who are kidult, even Olamide baddo , Wizzy na smally for where him dey jare . CDQ attended university of Lagos and after successfully obtaining a certificate from the well recognised institution in 2001 , he got into music far back as 2002 and that was when he did his bebut concert in school with alot of stars in attendace including the like of late Baracko grin also Dagrin , Jesse Jagz, M.I, Dj Jimmy Jatt and Wizkid . The concert was a huge success and from that point people began to know him in his school and around his neighbourhood,. CDQ won a rap battle at the famous industry night show way back December,2012 at the Oriental Hotel , in Lagos . That was where he got attention from the general public as there were huge and loudest audience present at the event , CDQ officially became a role model to many rap lovers in Nigeria . Just few months after inking his name in the Nigerian book of gifted rappers , he caught the attention of Mastercraft who had no other choice than to sign him to his Record Label ‘General records’ and since that high point of his life he has done alot of songs and as well features alot of stars including Wizkid , M.I and many more . CDQ released his debut single at ‘General records’ titled “SUALA” just few days after being signed to the label . The Song was also produced by his mentor Masterkraft and it was massively accepted while it also enjoyed constant airplay on radio and tv stations . CDQ has since then released many hit tracks like WOBI , BIZNESS featuring his mentor Masterkraft, OLOWO, AMEN to hype the #BRINGBACKOURGIRLS# campaign and his newest song is OGONI where he brought Runtown to the high table . cdq 2CDQ songs include Woss Wobi, Talasobee,Salaro, Ogoni and he has been featured in songs like 69 Missed Calls, Indomie . Four artiste did the 69 Missed Calls songs and they are CDQ, Reminisce, Chinko Ekun, Olamide and Lkil Kesh .
